Rise of Women in Sustainability

Come and check out this incredible panel of women who have been on the forefront of the sustainability industry.

The panel, which features Alegria Partners President Nikki Pava, begins at 8 pm on Friday, April 27th. Learn more about the New Living Expo.

While women only hold 8% of general management positions in the U.S., they hold 39% of the leadership positions in sustainability fields. As the cornerstone of the new economy, sustainable business practices and environmental stewardship are giving women increased opportunities to gain influence and affect social change. Some women are in high-level leadership corporate positions while others are developing their own start-ups. This panel will engage audiences on how women are gaining equal ground with men through opportunities in sustainability leadership. It will provide tips to encourage more environmental sustainability within corporate cultures, and discuss today’s common challenges for Corporate Social Responsibility.
